I’m sure everyone has seen the famous Sushi documentary by The Rahmens, but did you know that there actually were others in the series? I found two more on youtube, sadly with no subtitles but still good for anyone who can understand them.

These are such perfect parodies of those “This is Japan” videos they showed in Japanese class. The epic finale in part 3 of ‘dating’ is also classic.

Whenever I see their videos, I’m always reminded of the work of British satirist Stephen Potter, who wrote a series of “How To” programmes just after the war. he would have loved these guys.

A DVD’s gone on sale with an additional nine new ones. There’s no English subtitles for them yet, but it looks like they’re planning an international release soon.
