On the last day of 2010, here in Kyoto we got a rare snowy day, and it looked lovely. Despite being swamped with finishing my thesis I couldn’t resist taking a walk around the neighborhood with my camera so here are a few photos.
Have a good New Year’s Eve, everyone!
Great pics. It is still a bit early for me, but happy new year all.
The Chion’in looked very nice on Yuku-Toshi Kuru-Toshi tonight.
I always love seeing snow on palm trees.
Jade, I didn’t manage to get over around Chion’in – deliberately avoided anyplace famous/crowded and instead went to ring the bell at a nice local temple (頂妙寺) I had gone to before on new years eve when I used to live on the same street.
These photos make me so homesick! Thanks for the post.
It’s lovely pics!! I’m going to Kyoto next week. So I’ll notice my friends in my blog. Can I attach your picture in my blog?
