At this noodle shop in Taichung, they serve noodles made by slicing off slivers of dough from a bread-loaf block of dough, flicking them into a cauldron of boiling water.

Dao Shao mien. The best, served all over Taiwan. The results are chewy and delicious. Great picture, too. How come you didn’t stop by when you were in Taichung? What good is all this blogging if I don’t get to kick your ass at Axis and Allies over beer?
