The production companies can make your life hell though even if you are technically "correct." Normal people on the other hand do not really have any "portrait rights." They can only sue if they can claim some kind of damages as a result of being photographed. I think these campaigns would work a lot better if we had any sort of example of the "damage" people do to these companies by infringers. All I see is a bunch of production companies trying to have a monopoly on their stars' existence. In other words, we only see what they want us to see not who the person "really is."
